Tanfield has been designed with flexibility in mind. Seventeen self-contained office suites offer a range of permutations up to and including the entire development of 17,742 sq m (190,972 sq ft). Each suite will be accessed through a stunning 78m long feature atrium from an impressive double height reception area.

Tanfield is one of the city's most important office buildings and was designed to fit well with its green surroundings. Enormous fenestration provides views to the landscaped gardens and the trees of Inverleith. The huge floorplates were previously relieved by the three atria, landmarks of Edinburgh's New Town. The entrance of such an enormous building was discretely positioned next to the retained old wool mill.
